“Going Hungry for Change”

By: Dr. Eba Hathout

Dr. Hassan Hathout was an advocate of will power as a positive enhancer of human character and relations. He pondered on the idea of a common day of fasting for people of all faiths, a universal day of will power.

In that spirit, the multi-faith fasting day in which Dr. Hassan Hathout used to be the keynote speaker, and which has been named after him since his passing in 2009, is again in order.

Organized by students at University of Southern California in Los Angeles, people of different faiths will fast and serve for charity, then share a meal after sunset.

Date: Thursday, October 18th, 2012

Time: 6:00 PM

Location:  University of Southern California, Los Angeles

Event and contact details are provided in the attached flyer.  Those who cannot participate may want to join in spirit through fasting, special prayers, or random acts of kindness and love.

The Hassan Hathout Legacy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non profit public benefit organization whose mission is to spread the message of Love in God.
